Children's Choir Information:

Our choirs are as follows:
Melody Makers I  (3 year olds)
Melody Makers II  (4 year olds)
Melody Makers III  (5 year olds)
Music Makers I  (1st & 2nd grades)
Young Musicians (3rd – 4th grades)
P56 Singers (5th & 6th Grades)

We meet each Sunday afternoon at 4:45 p.m., from September to May, on the second floor of the Harris building.

Our program is built on teaching the children hymns, music memory, in addition to Musicals, whether it be a Music Camp, Spring Musical, or Christmas Musical, solo and acting performances.

At Curtis, our Children’s Choirs participants learn musical concepts such as; soft and loud, a steady beat, and what value certain musical notes may have. This leads to a true appreciation for music. But more importantly, our Directors and leaders help our children to learn how to worship through music, that God is our audience, and that our worship is intended to Glorify God through music.
